Rule of thumb for December: Don't show up empty handed for holiday parties.
Here's something that we'd like to receive. The Pumpkin in a Can at Yum made us coo and bond with a fellow bakery patron as we contemplated who would appreciate it's cuteness. The delicious pumpkin bread comes gift-ready in a shiny silver can. Andy Warhol would love it.
Yum's proprietress Patti Soskin picked up the clever recipe as a student at the U of M. Her higher education clearly paid off as it's flavorful, delicious and presentably packaged.
It's canned, without being, err, canned.
