Those red leather pants of yours (we see them lurking at the back of your closet) may never have been in style, but recycled into a clutch? Forever fashionable.

The ruby handbags might have you declare: "There's no place like H(OM)E". Such is the genius of this Milwaukee-based brand by Heather Hambrecht that churns out irresistible goods constructed entirely from scrap leather pieces.

Go shabby-chic with H(OM)E's gem-colored clutches (ruby, emerald or topaz), outfitted with kitschy stitching and antique hardware ($128). Or indulge in Hambrecht's newest creation -- the unisex wallet ($78). The "OM" says it all: Relaxed (you, the leather, you and the leather).

The line is available exclusively in Minneapolis at Gallery 360. With owner Merry Beck's keen eye for one-of-a-kind art and jewelry (her store has been an neighborhood favorite for 10 years now), we wouldn't have expected any less.

In the case of H(OM)E, it's like coming full circle.

Gallery 360, 3011 W 50th St, Mpls., 612-925-2400.
