Once upon a time, there was a fair maiden (you!?!) who loves to shop.
You've searched far and wide for a selection of clothing, jewelry, trinkets, clutches and cupcakes so lovely and alluring.
Look no further than Maiden Minnesota.
More than 30 local women-owned businesses have signed on for the mega-girls' night out shopping event next Thursday, including some of our favorites: LiveSavvy, Jeanne Beatrice, Nelle Handbags, Joynoelle, Hollywood Fashion Tape, Cocoa & Fig, Corset, Local Motion, Bebe Babble, Karin Jacobson Design, Elin & Clara, Apiary Design, Penny Larsen Jewelry, Kokoon, Thymes, Write Away, Talisman Designs, Foat Designs, Solo by Bonicelli .
Now in its third year, word about Maiden Minnesota spread quickly throughout the land. The inspired idea comes from Tracy Dyer of Urban Junket and Jen Stack of Relish Minds. The event has historically been a rocking sell-out, so the dynamic duo doubled its capacity this year to accommodate demand.
Your ticket includes a $5 donation to Free Arts and your first drink ticket.
And you'll live happily every after.
Maiden Minnesota, Nov. 5, 5 to 9 p.m., at the Graves Hotel, 601 1st Av. N., Mpls., 612-677-1100. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the door.
