You promised them presents. Delicious, homemade, taste-like-they-just-popped-out-of-the-oven presents.

Thing is, they never popped out of your oven. Because you never had a chance to make them during the holiday frenzy.

Just add butter and an egg to the mix, then scoop it out half-a-teaspoon at a time onto a parchment-paper covered cookie sheet. You can keep the extra dough in the fridge for cookies-on-demand, a fine idea since a tin makes about 100.

In just four minutes, you have bubbly golden discs that are paper-thin, candy-like cookies that melt when you eat them.

They're so good, you'll want to hand-deliver these scrumptious babies right to your mouth.
