There's a lot to love about winter: big sweaters, cozy fires, snuggling under the covers. But like anything, it has its drawbacks. For instance: Getting caught without a hat or scarf.
Unless, that is, you invest in Attagirl by Kedrin's accessories.
Designer Kedrin Likness crochets the adorable line of hats, gloves, legwarmers and shawls herself. The current Richfield resident learned the craft as a wee gal in South Dakota from her two grandmas (Alma and Maxine), which, soon after, she quickly forgot. Two years ago, she was cash-strapped and wanted to make gifts for her friends so she took it up again and spun out hats and gloves for her friends.
Now she designs under the Attagirl by Kedrin label. You can buy what's left of her holiday line at local boutiques (listed below) or contact her through her website for a custom order. The yarn swatches are online, ready for the picking. Great for those of us who are picky or trying to match that particular shade of plum on our new coat.
If cold weather means looking this cute, bring it on.
