You always thought you'd run away with the circus.
But fear of popcorn and roasted peanuts for three meals a day made you think twice every time.
Ovo might change your mind. The Cirque du Soleil show currently parked at the Mall of America is a high-flying adventure.
The show starts when an intriguing egg lands in the middle of the insect world. There's love, playful teasing and a big party. Story aside, you'll be fascinated by the costumes, noises and movements of these creatures who are way more bug-like and bendy than any human we've ever met. It's the Cirque experience as you imagine it to be. We're fans of the ants who balance kiwis, entwining butterflies and the spectacular gravity-defying closing act.
These guys aren't clowning -- or bugging -- around.
Cirque du Soleil, through June 19, Mall of America (next to Ikea), tickets available online.
