Summer is for being all footloose and fancy-free.
But it's hard to get into that mindset when it's August and you're completely bored with everything in your closet.
Local designer Jenny Carle to the rescue. She's created a collection unique to Design Vertigo in St. Paul. Known for her feminine, vintage-inspired designs, Jenny uses many reused textiles in her quest to be a sustainable designer.
The end-of-summer/early-fall pieces will debut in a fashion show on Friday night. Available for four weeks only, they're perfect for dressing up or layering, depending on the occasion and weather. In fact, many of them serve as perfect transitional pieces between seasons.
Because there's sadly no such thing as an endless summer.
Jenny Carle's designs are also available at Cliche and Elodie.
