When you're in the midst of an accessorizing crisis and you have nowhere else to turn, sometimes you need to call in reinforcements.
Hey, what's that? It's a bird, it's a plane...it's a pair of
water lily earrings by Super Karin.
This little known hero is known to mere mortals as
Karin Jacobson, a Minneapolis-based jewelry designer, whose adventures can be followed in her catalogs. She works primarily in sterling silver and has become best known for sleek, minimalist designs with bright semi-precious gemstones.
Using her aesthetic powers for good, her new collection goes even more graphic. Inspired by Chinese patterns of lotus flowers, she created these elegant abstract floral patterns.
Available in a matte or oxidized finish, the light-as-air earrings are the perfect fix for your wardrobe conundrum.
By the way, water lilies often symbolize enlightenment. Now that's a nice secret superpower to have.
