Todays pic We See London...
For its second anniversary celebration, Twin Cities Green (2405 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls., 612-374-4581, 5 to 8:30 p.m.) is having an Eco Boudoir Bash. Tonight's party will include a fashion show of sleepwear and lingerie, a workshop from Smitten Kitten, organic cocktails, organic mattress demonstrations and a make-your-own underwear from reclaimed fabric workshop.

Wear Furniture
Fashion + Fusion is one of the craziest (and best?) runway shows of the year. Interior designers use commercial materials to compete in a fashion show down. Proceeds benefit People Serving People. Check it out on Friday night (Epic Event Center, 110 North Fifth St., Mpls., 7 p.m.).

Moving Sale
Luna Vinca (3344 Hennepin Av., Mpls., 612-823-6178) is moving downtown and refocusing on floral design. Through Nov. 30, get deals on everything in store, including 2-for-1 boxed holiday cards and individual holiday cards are 25 cents each, wreathes are 50 percent off and even local jewelry lines are discounted.

VState is having a Grand Reopening party this weekend (3001 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls., 612-823-4699, Sat., 7 to 10 p.m.). To celebrate, there will cocktails, live music by I Roots Reggae Band and free haircuts for guys, courtesy of Fellas Salon. You'll also get 10 to 15 percent new fall merchandise and extra 30 percent off of summer stuff.

There are nine nights left to catch the "Vaudeville Extravaganza." (Lowry Lab Theater, 350 St. Peter St., St. Paul, 651-222-0149). It's a series of shows to benefit MN entertainer Mikael Rudolph, whose medical bills (but not cancer!!) have become overwhelming. Get your tickets online for any of the events. Top picks include accordion wizard Dan "Daddy Squeeze" Newton, silent clown Lloyd Brant and singing ventriloquist Christa Krusso.

Dream of Spring
October feels like November, so hopefully we can get past this chill and move right into spring 2010 -- at least wardrobe-wise.
