We're concretely resisting a boring night to attend the Abstract Resistance opening/Walker After Hours party. Be the first to see the exhibition on Friday (9 p.m. to midnight). Hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, photo souvenirs and an art project are all part of the fun. Tickets are $35 ($25 for members).

Whaaaa? Tickets are still available for Metro Magazine's Fashion Fight Night. Lucky for you, if you're quick enough --it's one of the hottest events in town. Bring your own gloves (boxing or otherwise) to the fourth annual event (Uppercut Boxing Gym, 1324 Quincy St. NE, Mpls., 7:30 p.m., $50).
