You are what you eat. And you happen to think of yourself as fabulous, unique, and irresistible.
Now there's a chocolate worthy of you -- St. Croix Chocolate Co.
Made right in a shop nestled near the river, these bonbons are perfection made from premium chocolate and butter and cream from a nearby dairy. Plus fresh ingredients such as locally raised raspberries.
We loved the chocolate-dipped marzipan, peanut butter (with a slightly whipped texture), and tea. Actually, we wanted more of everything we tasted.
In addition to spot-on flavors, these truffles are beautiful, each one hand-crafted by Robyn Dochterman. The lifelong journalist switched to chocolate and studied at the French Pastry School in Chicago, the Chocolate Academy in Chicago, and the San Francisco Baking Institute in California before opening her storefront in June.
If the line out the door goes down, she'll start selling her treats online and wholesale.
We suggest stocking up.
Here's to the new and improved you.
