Oh, Klum. You have forever changed the way we say "You're IN." Think accent and gravitas.
Well, there's a new place to be INN, at the least. If you're craving crafted cocktails in a casually cozy atmosphere, head on over to the Inn. The former Hell's Kitchen spot looks much as it did in its Subo days but has the feel of a happy hipster supper club, not surprising with its Town Talk/Strip Club pedigree.
Try the refreshingly tart Has Been ($9, made with Genever, Chartreuse, Elderflower and sour). Or if you're feeling adventurous, ask uber bartenders Jesse and Tim to surprise you. You may end up with a lemony Aviation, made with delicious-smelling Creme de Violette, or a delightful coffee drink with Kahlua and Cherry Heering, whipped into a froth with an egg.
Get your protein fix with the grass-fed burger topped with a fried egg and foie gras ($18). The spicily flavorful pork sausage with celery root and Brussels sprouts cakes is the best brat ($9) you?ll ever have. On the lighter side, try the smoked trout nosh with beets, fennel and horseradish cream served on rye bread ($7). And since you're on a roll, tear into the big warm dinner roll, served with salty butter and sweet orange marmalade ($3). Mmm.
Now aren't you glad you're part of the Inn crowd?
